COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to meet the industrial qualification requirements for Welder Workmanship and Visual Inspection and acceptance of welds. The training covers basic workmanship processes, visual inspection principles, product/material verification and control, standards and procedures and applicable techniques used by the welder for interpretation of indications. The course satisfies the training required by NAVSEA Technical Publication NAVSEA S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248, Requirements for Welding and Brazing Procedure and Performance Qualification.

Course Duration: 6-8 Total Hours

Prerequisite: None.
